Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cordele North by IHG

It was dirty, extra blankets were not available. It was advertised to have a hot tub but did not - which was my entire reason for choosing this hotel.

Smell upon entering room was very strong of chemicals. Sheen/film in floor as if they just sprayed the room with disinfectant instead of properly cleaning and wiping down. There was short curly hairs all over bathroom vanity. Fingerprints all over bathroom mirror. Chair and desk area was sticky. Room was disgusting. Worst Holiday Inn iv stayed at. While checking out, had to direct my children not to step in the vomit immediately outside the front door.

We stopped here after a trip to Disney for one night. We arrived late because of bad traffic. On the way to our room we noticed one of the side doors into the building was left open and I made my husband shut it. Then when we got to our room we heard the A/C make a jack hammer noise, then noticed that food was left in the fridge. We went down to see if we could switch rooms and the same door from before was propped open again. At first the night worker said we could not switch rooms and that there would not be a manager available to speak with until Monday. They said we could give up our room and get a full refund but it was very late so we decided to stay and stick it out. About 30 minutes later he came and gave us a new room thankfully. Breakfast was good, slept okay but will not be back. The outside door being left propped open was very odd and a major safety concern. The facility looks like they renovated it but only partially. Do not recommend.
