Baymont by Wyndham Omaha SW

We stayed a night there. Beds and pillows were fine. Property is recently renovated. Bathtub was plugging during shower.

It will be what it was this doesn’t matter or change my experience

I travel for a living, I'm in hotels across the country all the time and this one had alot to be desired. I checked in around 10pm after driving all day, the elderly lady seemed as tho I inconvenienced her by walking in the door. She was borderline rude, had an old dirty sleeveless shirt on, the hotel had a very strong smell of perfume or some kind of chemical trying to cover a smell or something but it was strong! The computer was running slow while checking in and the woman was standing there pissed off and complaining to the computer. It was odd. The stairs to go upstairs were dirty and really creaky. The upstairs hallway had the same strong chemical odor. The couch in my room was old and stained. The king size bed had 3 small pillows. I needed to iron a shirt but the ironing board was disgusting dirty and stained. In the parking lot there's a large piece of concrete just in the middle of the parking lot that I hit with my right rear tire while pulling Into my spot in the dark. Spend alil more and skip this place. It's not worth it.

Place smelled weird. Breakfast was not very good. Not much for choices and was not kept up throughout the morning. Fan in the bathroom was noisy and the cover was off of it and the fan in the other bathroom I got didn’t even work. Pool was not able to be used. Staff was friendly though!

Staff was nice, convenient to have Casey’s and a McDonald’s right there.

Property was a little older and the stay was ok. Day clerk did job, but the night clerk was really nice.

The appearance of the building was nice along with the inside too.

There was a strong perfume smell first walking into the lobby adding to the cigarette smoke. We got to our room and one of the dresser drawer fronts was broken off, the floor was dirty including food and ketchup packets on the floor, under the sink was sticky and had hair stuck to it, two small and lumpy pillows per bed. All night we kept waking up to a strong cigarette smoke smell. My kids and I had sore throats and headaches from our one night stay. After our day at the zoo, we decided to forgo our planned second night and drive home. Losing our money for the second night and getting home at 1 in the morning was better than staying there another night.
