This place is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Every bad review you read about it is not an exaggeration. The room was dirty, the linens nasty looking, towels were varying shades of brown. It was bad. The entire neighborhood is depressed and run-down. I saw a patrol car (police) cruising around the hotel at least 3 times in a couple hours. I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. Good that there was a cop there but clearly the cop is used to patrolling the area. Not the kind of place you bring a family to. Don't say I didn't warn you. The one positive is that the guy checking me in was very friendly.

The hotel is run down it looks like it should be condemned. The tv and internet didnt work they did fix the tv. Someone stole the phone out of our room. No mini fridge or microwave. They definitely dont clean. Used band aid stuck to the bedroom floor and chip bag by the bed. The blankets and towels were stanned the pillows were disgusting. The screen in our window was kicked out. There was an attic in our bedroom. There were holes in the walls. Looked like someones brains got blown all over the bathroom wall. This place is nasty and run down.

Room was dusty. Has been painted and looked nice. New wood floors. Had a smell when we first when in to the room. Stool and tub were old and had cigarette burns. Burns in one of the comforters. Old place. There were people who were nosey and loud until 4:00 in the morning. Made for a short night.

It's amazing that Granny's exists. It's a motel from another era that was cut off from the highway and is basically accessible via an alley. It doesn't look great on the outside. Inside, though, the room was clean and everything worked, so for the money, I have no complaint and would stay here again. Nice people, too.

This hotel has seen it's better days but the staff was friendly and the room was exactly what I needed; clean , comfortable , & cheap.

Ill be frequently staying at this establishment this year as my search for a new home continues on. Ive checked out the other hotels in the area with similar pricing and Granny's has them beat imho.

4 **** STAR RATING HERE! I dont understand why this place has such bad reviews because my room etc. was nearly perfect for me. The gentleman who was tending the front desk was always pleasant and friendly. The only complaints I had are small, ~considering I was only paying a little over $50 a night!!~; I stayed for 4 nights and received no housekeeping services or inquiries about requiring services..had to ask front desk for fresh supplies when I needed them, (but I survived lol). No fridge or ashtrays which was a dissapointment. Doorknob lock malfunctioned so that it was quite tricky to unlock but I always received prompt assistance without request and I was grateful! I felt safe there too. Quiet location. Will definitely reccomend!
