Uprising Beach Resort

Very helpful staff and a very nice place to stay at

We had a great stay at the resort! The team was absolutely incredible and the food was amazing! Vinaka vakalevu ❤️

we booked the bures - without realizing that the shower is outside, without a roof! It was raining and we didn't feel comfortable to wet our heads in the rain and catch a cold.

Hotel is in beautiful location, amazing beach, amazing staff, but needs a total linen refresh. All sheets and towels had stains which really deflated my rating

While staff were kind and careful, several items lead to a 3/5: - The day we arrived there was a show (as every Thursday) and as we arrived in late afternoon the booking was full and had to dinner in another place - Several issues with shower (hot water not stable, low pressure) - No mosquito net around the bed while a lot of mosquitos surrounding you - No wifi (in the bedroom at least) - No sport facility while it’s written on the website

Car park not sealed and pools of water. Had to walk more than 100 meters in the rain to reception No internet in the room. Wanted to charge $15 but I had to fight for free modem which was later given to me FOC. Given only one umbrella but we were 2. Had to walk about another 200 meters to reach the room. Raining all night and no ceiling and rain noise all night, Towels were issued at Reception and we had to return the same on check out. Footpaths filled with pools of water.

Stayed a few nights at Uprising while in the area for a shark dive. Our cabin was very spacious, with separate living and kitchen areas, a large master bath with tub, porch, and outdoor shower. Pool and beachfront was very comfortable, just be forewarned that if a cruise is coming to port, this area will be crowded and space is not saved for resort guests. The onsite restaurant was fine but hours end early, so if you are a night owl you should plan accordingly. It was easy to arrange transport and get local information from the front desk staff.

The shower hot and cold water was not working properly- it was really hot for 10 seconds and then become very cold and repeat in this cycle.

lovely place for the location ,the property itself is very old and tierd and needs lots of TLC to get to standard and also no dinning options .
