Uprising Beach Resort

Its a good location, but the property is in desperate need of a significant upgrade. Appeared to be short of qualified staff. Charged F$70.00 for breakfast after already been given a voucher, with no explanation that there would be an additional charge.

It’s in a great location, quite and walkable but there’s only one problem that can easily be solved 1. Is the aircon in the rooms is weak when it’s be adjusted to full it weak.

Loved staff and community vibe-local middle school graduation at property. Outdoor showers lovely. Outdoor covered pavilion perfect spot to waig out rains!

Checking in slow. No notice about water being cut off and no water supplied for use alternately. Food potion small and meat and fish overdone. Good things included spacious room and king bed in the villa, the outdoor shower, nice breakfast buffet and friendly staff.

In it’s day would have been really nice. It’s just tired & run down, best value for money. The staff are very lovely, helpful & try really hard to ensure guests are happy. It’s so sad you can see the efforts to make it

We booked 2 beachfront villas which were very spacious. The grounds were beautiful and well kept as well. The outdoor shower was so refreshing! The ocean breeze kept us cool and the beach out front was great to swim in at low tide. Service was hit and miss. We booked for same day stay and it turned out that we couldn’t dine at the restaurant. You apparently have to pre book as they were having a Polynesian night but were told at check in we could order from a la carte. When we went for dinner we were told this wasn’t the case and they couldn’t offer us anything at all including and no room service. We were told to drive to a different restaurant if we wanted to eat anything. This is very poor service to not offer any dining options at all to your in house guests. Luckily we had a car to drive up the road in the rain to find something to eat with an 11 month old in tow. The facilities also need a bit of an up keeping, pool is old with peeling paint and feels very uninviting. Basic amenities are missing like tissues, face towels and floor towels for bath. The indoor bath was falling apart in both villas.

We loved everything about our stay here...the staff, the accommodations, the food, the pool...everything. Highly recommend and we will be back :)

It’s a beautiful place, BUT bad condition bad maintenand and a need a lot of love and work to put it in perfect condition again. Sad to see it like this…..
