Canadas Best Value Inn Mile-0-Motel Lillooet

My daughter and I stayed for one night on a Canadian road trip through BC and Alberta. A great stay in a lovely, very traditional looking motel. Beds were excellent, the room was clean and the water hot. The Mile-0-Motel was easy to find and parking was good. The motel is very traditional looking - part of its appeal - and really good value. While the interior decor may be showing its age a little, it is spotlessly clean and a great place to rest over. Lillooet itself is a somewhat overlooked town but has its own appeal and I would love to have spent a few days there exploring the town and its surrounding mountains. It has an interesting history and I would love to know more. In one shop we ended up talking to an old timer who was one of the original jade miners: the town was at one time responsible for most of the jade used around the world. The roads around Lillooet are also very 'instagrammable' with a famous and much photographed hairpin bend just outside the town.

Seriously, not much. For the price, the cleanliness and the comfort of the place made it an exceptional place to stop over.

Nettes klassisches Motel perfekt für eine Roadtrip-Übernachtung. Das Zimmer war groß mit schönem Blick vom Balkon. Der Checkin ging superschnell, zum Checkout konnten wir einfach den Zimmerschlüssel einwerfen. Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln.
