I had a nice stay. I wanted my friend to come and share a room with me, but when I called I was told that they could not put another bed in the room I had rented. I was surprised when I arrived that I was the only guest in the hotel and there were rooms with 2 beds in them.
A lovely place to stay to get away from the city in the Santa Monica Mts. A charming inn with a charming host, within a short walk to hiking trails with spectacular views of the Santa Monica Mts., the Pacific Ocean & Catalina Island, and the Valley. Be sure to check out the art on the walls of the local flora and landscapes, painted by the host. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and well-worth the experience...perfect for relaxing in a serene environment.
Too far from pacific coast highway in the middle of nowhere
beautiful property literally in the mountains with gorgeous views and a very old world european style decor. The inn keepers are very kind and knowledgeable and give info about the location, hiking and things to do. the small touches were very sweet, such as complementary bottles of water in the fridge, fruit, access to a kitchen for coffee and tea at all times and comfy large towels.
If your looking for luxury this isn’t the place for you. This is the perfect getaway to unwind, disconnect, regroup or a local romantic getaway. Tucked away in the hills with hikes, beautiful scenery, no tv’s, the beds are soft as clouds. Interesting breakfast conversation, themed rooms made it fun. I will definitely be back. Hidden gem.
Wonderful owners and delicious breakfast. Stunning views. Please note there is no cell service, although there is good wi-fi. I couldn’t get my phone on wireless calling so that was an issue for me.
Fantastic idyllic little inn tucked away in Topanga Mountains. Quiet, clean, plenty of amenities. We had a great time resting there after a long hike. Breakfast was lovely and the owners were kind and had really inspiring stories to tell. Highly recommend, I hope we can come back!
