Ballathie Country House Hotel and Estate

We liked the location, which was near a friends place. It is also a great setting by the Tay. Maybe for the price it was OK value, but the Sportman's lodge is nothing like what was featured on the main images on Google, pretty basic, in fact.

Perfect location for a quiet stay, great setting, and excellent service. The dinner was top notch, as was the breakfast.

This is a beautiful property. We booked it same day on hotels.com and got a really good rate. We were blown away by how lovely everything was!! And the people there are so nice!

What a place ,from the drive along the driveway, the hotel is amazing, i know its won awards for the food, but it was not our choice. Then again we came home and booked 2 overnights in August.

I didn't find the staff very friendly. They have been quite arrogant.

Beautiful property in Highlands. Perfect for relaxation and peace and quiet. Restaurant was fantastic. Originally booked for one night but after a brief stroll around the grounds we de used to extend our stay an extra night. Easy drive to Dunkeld. We will definitely return

Another enjoyable short break with our dog. Plenty of scenic walks around the estate followed by excellent dinners. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. A very relaxing holiday.

Good size room, lovely location and pleasant staff. Couldn't get a restaurant place for some reason but was happy for the alternative bar supper option however this was a little expensive in reality. The strong point of this hotel is the staff. Very helpful, especially the barman who seemed to appear everywhere!
