Location, views, gardens.

Food was very disappointing, it was cold on arrival and very expensive for what we received. It was our wedding night and no extra effort was made to acknowledge our special occasion.

The staff were their best asset , from checking in to checking out. You felt welcomed and known from first stepping in the door. Very clean, understated but classy.

Location was superb - so magical, even with the spring storms. Gardens were immaculately maintained by an experienced gardener. Hats off to him! We were very grateful to receive an upgrade to the spa suite for our wedding anniversary. So peaceful and relaxing. There was nothing we were left wanting. The highlight of our stay was definitely the Spa Experience - massage, facial and foot massage. Heavenly!! Thank you so much Trish and Katherine - possibly the best treatment we've ever had! We will definitely come back again soon.

Disappointed in the cleanliness of the shower and vanity basin as it did not measure up to the same standard of the rest of the property. The mould on shower floor needs attention - removal and replacing grout would be ideal with regular scrubbing necessary. Shower glass door was not clean either. Little attention to details which could be easily corrected to increase customer satisfaction. Was a shame really, as this was the only area where I felt Spicers Clovelly Estate lacked.

Outside at night black, no lighting in car park, unable to see where path was. Lights were facing the trees!!!!. Noticably lighting was along the entire pathways at front unit of retreat. Needs to be rectified.
