We regularly use the Munich airport Novotel - it's very easy to reach (one stop on the S-bahn or a short bus ride from the terminal) and much better value than the hotels in the centre of the airport. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. There's a great bar and restaurant (serving proper veal schnitzel at reasonable rates) and the buffet breakfast is superb.
