Four Points by Sheraton Jaipur, City Square

Below par service standards from a brand hotel like sheraton for below mentioned experiences 1.No welcome drink on arrival 2.lacked warmth at reception 3.No luggage assistance on arrival. 4.Luggage delivered too late. After 2 calls they sent it. 5.bathroom fixtures worn out 6.No hand towels in room 7.Sgl dental kit in a room booked for dbl occupancy. 8.restaurant service was pathetic Food was very spicy.As we were first time travellers to Rajasthan we were not having knowledge about how spicy the food would be.so we expected the steward to guide us through the menu. However when I asked he said that ur in rajasthan so it's going to be spicy.He didn't bother if we liked it or not.He should try the same with foreign nationals.Felt like Indians not welcomed. Soup was served for 4 members as we had 2 rooms....but soup spoon was given to 3 only and 4th was provided on request. Table was not cleared as and when we finished the dishes....hence table was full.....I asked for some ice cubes....steward came with Ice bucket.....I told him give me some cubes and take bucket back as the table space was fully occupied......he just dumped it on table and went. Later post completing our meals finger bowls wasn't provided.....on request it was provided after very long time.Manager was informed about the same....but he just said sorry and moved on. we expected the order taker to ask if we need desserts.....which he didn't bother.....and we signed the bills and went out of hotel for desserts and had it. Lastly,we called for luggage assistance while departing but the attendant didn't turn up.so we helped ourselves as we were getting late to go to airport. Kudos to Spa team of Jeni and the masseurs.they did a wonderful job of giving us the service of back massage. Rest all over all a very disappointing experience.

Lots of options for breakfast, room is very well cleaned and hygienic.

Facilities such as refilling of shower gels could be improved.

The staff were nice and helpful.

The room wasn’t very clean—I could noticeably feel dust. It didn’t match the pictures at all. In the photos, the room looks quite appealing, but in reality, much of the furniture felt old and worn out. Not recommended for the price I paid.

Location is good we almost everything nearby. The staffs are cooperative and helpful. I have stayed for 2weeks and it was a wonderful stay. Even the food is also good and matched with my taste as I am a picky eater. Overall experience was wonderful.

As a **Marriott Bonvoy member**, I specifically insisted that my friend—who meticulously designed my Gujarat and Rajasthan itinerary—book **Four Points by Sheraton, Jaipur**. This decision was driven by my consistently rewarding experiences with the brand, most notably my memorable stay at their Singapore property. Regrettably, the Jaipur experience fell far short of those expectations. My wife and I stayed at the property on **16th and 17th December** for two nights, and our disappointment began at the very first point of contact—**check-in**. I was informed that I would not receive my Bonvoy membership credits because the booking had been made via a travel agent/app. This explanation was baffling. I clearly demonstrated, with proof, that during my recent stays in **Chennai, Trichy, and Madurai**, where bookings were also made through a travel agent, I received full membership credit. After all, the payment ultimately comes from the guest, not the intermediary. The rationale offered was not only unconvincing but also contrary to my past Marriott experiences. While the **room itself was spacious**, the property as a whole betrays its age. The hotel is evidently **in dire need of an immediate and comprehensive renovation**. Upon entering our room, we were met with a noticeable musty odor. Although staff promptly responded by spraying room freshener, this merely masked the issue rather than resolving it. The **carpets along the corridors** appeared worn and dated, further reinforcing the sense of neglect. More concerning was the **lack of housekeeping discipline**—used plates and cutlery from in-room dining were left outside rooms on our floor for hours, and at times even **overnight**. Such untidiness is inexcusable for a property that claims five-star standards. The **restaurant workstations** were visibly old, with some even broken, and the **towels provided** were similarly tired and overused—details that significantly detract from the luxury experience one expects from an international brand. That said, the **sole redeeming aspect** of our stay was the dining experience on our first night. The food was genuinely excellent, and the service provided by **Sumit and Akhilesh** was exceptional. Their attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism—both during dinner and at breakfast the following morning—introduced a rare note of positivity to an otherwise underwhelming stay. My sincere thanks to them for their outstanding service. In conclusion, travelers seeking a **relaxing, five-star experience** should proceed with caution. Unless the property undergoes a substantial renovation and operational overhaul, booking this hotel may lead to disappointment rather than delight.
