Hotel Nutibara

The hotel is definitely aging, in needs of repairs and serious updating, but it has so much charm, amazing views and potential. The location alone is unbeatable being right across from Plaza Botero and the Museum of Antioquia, plus the metro lines 1 and 2 very close by. Yes the area is rough in general (there are heavy presence of police and military until after dark to help a bit,) but that's sadly the reality in most downtowns these days in even in the nicest cities in N. America! For the value, experience and convenience, this hotel is well worth a stay. There's a little street shop across the street (and down a short block) that sells amazing huge Colombian tamales and a decadent dish with rice, bean and pulled pork that are mouth-watering and cheap :D

This is the most traditional and the first hotel founded in Medellin and it has been untouched basically in the rooms but everything else is clean and spacious and most importantly that is right in the center of the city which is very convenient to go around walking. The service desk is helpful.

Hotel Nutibara was once a beautiful hotel. It’s now eighty years old and though it’s not the hotel’s fault, the area around it has deteriorated considerably. In fact fifteen years ago I paid more for a room.

The hotel is in the old Center of Medellin. Nearby is terrible, surrounded by informal business, homeless and traffic is horrible. Even though inside is safe going outside the hotel is risky if you are going by your own. Hotel was dirty room, no towels and window was not closing properly causing a lot of noise inside the room.

I was surprised how good this hotel really is. although is a little inconvenient because the area around it is a little disturbing, the hotel itself is great with very large rooms and nice food options.

Not worth it to stay here for the money i paid for the Hotel the area is terrible and everything looks dirty and old once you walk around the hotel you’ll have homeless every 2 meters

I like the staff. because people make a great diferency very polite, very professional,very welcome All ways going the extra mila for the guest I been stayed at this property for many years the employee all ways make the diferencia
