Ottima posizione 20 Min da Piazza Armerina e 20 Min da Caltagirone. Ottima la piscina. Ottimo il ristorante dell'hotel. Bella visuale sul paese di San Michele in Ganzaria.

Si vede che l'hotel a piccoli passi si sta rimodernando dagli anni 80 ad oggi, sono ad un buon livello, punterei sui bagni adesso.

Nous avons voyagé à 4 (2 adultes et 2 adolescents) et notre séjour à l'Hôtel-Restaurant POMARA s'est révélé être une belle expérience sicilienne. Nous recherchions le calme, la tradition mais également la modernité, le confort et l'authenticité : tout cela, nous l'avons trouvé au POMARA. Le calme par sa situation géographique et la taille humaine de l'établissement. La tradition par la cuisine sicilienne proposée par l'établissement. La modernité par l'ambiance de la grande et belle piscine. Le confort de chambres très bien rénovées, le très bel accueil du Hall, le petit-déjeuner généreux. L'authenticité lors de nos échanges avec les membres de la famille qui tient l'établissement : chacun étant très à l'écoute, faisant preuve de gentillesse et de disponibilité. Ne passez pas par le POMARA sans profiter au moins une fois de son restaurant et laissez-vous conseiller antipasti et autres spécialités siciliennes. Bonus : la terrasse du restaurant offre une très belle vue sur le village et l'environnement.

Le lieu très reposant. hospitalité et la gentillesse des propriétaires et personnels.

The pool is nice but a bit far from our room

We loved the hotel restaurant (situated beneath the hotel) which had amazing food (their bruschetta, fillets and pasta al pistacchio are to die for). The hotel is an old semi-refurbished family-run hotel. Front office/ Breakfast staff were really friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and views from the room are beautiful. The hotel has a large pool at the hotel rooftop. The hotel is on a hill so the views from the pool area are amazing. Ample parking space on the hotel ground.

Breakfast which is served in the hotel lobby is quite basic and stuff is not always fresh. Cleanliness in the room leaves a lot to be desired (cleaning of room consisted of bed making and changing of towels only - no sweeping or washing of floors, no sheet changing in 5 days). The room is rarely ever washed - there is fluff under the bed and in room corners and things left in the wardrobe from previous guests (clothes tags) were still there. We asked for a couple more hangers in the room and the HK staff said they will bring them (day 1) but they never arrived. Pillows were thin and hard.
