Definitely enjoyed the stay

The first two rooms were smelly: one with chemical exhaust from the broken pool directly below, and the other with animal smell and heavy deodorant spray, plus the rudest and most inept assistant manager and front desk staff who were verbally abusive, and clearly do not know the definition of hospitality. This was the worst hotel experience ever! They ruined my (senior) mother’s birthday which was to be an expensive (overpriced but I would have been okay with this had the experience been better) pool and hot tub weekend for the girls. The front desk staff and assistant manager were liars and the absolute rudest and most verbally abusive people I have ever encountered in my life. The pool did not work and they promised it would be fixed by the next morning, which was a lie. but after some of my party who had traveled 6 hours checked into our two rooms, I ran into some staff in the parking lot who told me that the front desk had lied to me and that they already knew the pool was not going to be fixed the entire weekend. I could have so easily moved to the Fairfield across the street if they had been straight with me, but they knew once we checked in that we would be charged (and they overcharged my credit card with actual/not pending charges immediately before services were rendered). My room had chemical exhaust coming in from the pool which was below me, and the staff told me it was dangerous, yet the front desk person argued with me about switching. They overcharged my credit card over $600.00 and did not agree to the reservation price I confirmed over the phone, and I had to dispute it with my credit card company. TERRIBLE! We saw literally a luggage cart come in with tons of pet carriers with animals in them and they were okay with this. Unbelievable! I love animals, but seriously, this is not the place. Hotel manager and owner never called me as promised either. Hilton (Hampton’s Parent Company promised me a free night at a different hotel but they never followed through). A TRULY SHAMEFUL DISGRACE FOR A BUSINESS!

This was the nicest cleanest hotel. I think I’ve ever stayed in in my life. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was totally awesome 10 out of 10.

I thought that the staff was very helpful and polite and the free breakfast was outstanding!

Great greeting from the hotel staff, option of room floor level given, soft drinks and water given on arrival.

The pool was out of order for the duration of my stay which was disappointing after booking this hotel for the facilities and the standards

This hotel is excellent. We appreciated the silence. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and the hotel was close to shops. I recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back.
