Elk Mountain Lodge

This lodge is the perfect location and was just minutes away from all the wonderful shops and restaurants.

It was very clean, centrally located, comfortable ( loved the common/ reading rooms), but it was the staff that we thought did a superb job. They were extremely helpful with all our different questions from hiking trails, dinner suggestions to which way to drive home due to snow conditions.

The 4 guys that handle the day to day at Elk Mountain are awesome! Not just "adequate". They are friendly, they know the area and are always available to provide information. And, man can they cook! Breakfast was excellent every morning.

Excellent! First, the communication from the hotel was fantastic. Very informative and helpful. When we checked in, the gentleman at the desk gave us excellent info on where to eat and where to go to find fall color. The breakfasts were amazing! The location is perfect, right in town just a few blocks from the main road with all the shops and restaurants. There is free parking on site and also right on the street at the hotel. Thank you also to the nice young man who carried my bag up to the 3rd floor. We had a lovely little balcony with a view of Mount Crested Butte. I highly recommend Elk Mountain Lodge next time your in Crested Butte. Will definitely book again!
