Haynes Bed and Breakfast

What a lovely and comfortable stay! This B&B really felt like you were being welcomed in this gracious home to stay. Our hosts were so kind and personable. And breakfast was a feast! I would say that if you aren’t used to a town with trains, use the provided earplugs at night.

Beautiful house, lovely room, very nice breakfast. Love that the room had no TV-great place to stay to tune out noise & get some peace.

The host was communicative and it was easy to find. It was an easy walk to downtown for dinner. The room with attached bathroom was very clean and the balcony was nice to share dessert outside. We slept well except that as it is close to downtown, there were frequent trains going through. This may not be a problem for people more used to city noise that we are. Breakfast was very good in the morning, we could choose to have it as early as 7:00 a.m. and choose between menus. It was overall a very nice stay.

I have stayed in numerous bed and breakfast in my travels over the last 2+ decades and what Glenna offers at Haynes is what it is about! With super convenient walking distance to downtown Greensboro. Immaculate & comfortable accommodations and a beautiful home cooked breakfast. The front porches on both floors overlook a beautiful street and are so nicely furnished to enjoy the outside space. A peaceful and welcoming space for your next couples or solo trip to Greensboro. Highly recommend. I look forward to returning.

Went to see a show at Tanger with dinner first. Location was perfect and breakfast was delicious.

The location of the B&B is within walking distance of downtown. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with a beautiful balcony that overlooks the quiet neighborhood street. Breakfast was delicious and served on on china and silver. It was a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price. I will be back and I highly recommend this B&B to other visitors.

We had a lovely experience here. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. Our flight from DC kept getting delayed and we didn’t get to the bed and breakfast until 2am, but the owners kept in contact and made sure we were able to get in and settled. In the morning we were cooked a delicious homemade breakfast. We were walking distance from Downtown so it was easy to pop over and explore the town on foot (we recommend the Civil Rights Museum!). We stayed in the red room and it was clean and spacious. The house throughout is decorated tastefully and we felt so grateful to be staying at Haynes Bed and Breakfast! We would highly recommend if you’re planning a trip to Greensboro.

My daughter and I stayed at this b&b for two nights sharing a bed. It was located in a nice, safe area in proximity to the school we visited as well as the city. Our nights there were restful and we felt welcomed in their home. Breakfast was served on time each morning. Though we could hear the train, they did accommodate with earplugs which we did not have to use cause we were dead tired. Also provided a mini fridge and fresh fruit by the bedside. Overall great experience.

Location, location, location!! Walked to dinner downtown and then to Tanger Center for a show. Next time we’ll take advantage of the outside porches. Wonderful hearty breakfast. Clean comfy room. Very kind hostess. Free on street parking. Just right!

Wonderful stay. Comfortable room. Nice owner. Great full breakfast. Happened to be there on first Friday of the month. Excellent art, restaurants, coffee and shopping in a 5 min walk. Culture and events center nearby but didnt get a chance to use them. Downtown development is well done. Safe greenway nearby for exercise.
