The location was great and the hotel was charming. It was perfect for a two night stay! Close to the beach and restaurants and helpful friendly staff!

The location is amazing. Right in the downtown area and 10 minutes walking from the boardwalk. The room was spacious, clean, and I loved the walk-in shower. Having the automated coffee machine in the lobby 24/7 is great for an early riser. Parking on the lot nextdoor was included.

The bed was comfortable but far too warm, and the A/C unit was so loud I couldn't leave it on during the night. Google Maps said free breakfast was included. It is not. My mistake, the booking.com listing does not mention free breakfast. I reported it on Google Maps. It is a pity there is no fridge in the room. Guests can use the kitchen fridge.

Hidden gem that is ecologically designed beautifully decorated and small. Inner court yard with fire pits and couches make for an open air garden away from tourist areas. Downtown is central to all cool areas. Great whole bean coffee/latte/cocoa/tea bar in inner lounge free. 2:00on fresh backed snacks by coffee. Free Parking is right next door in camera monitored lot ( uncovered) full commercial kitchen available for all guests including huge fridge to store perishable items. Guest dinning area is so cute! Seaglass light fixtures Beach and wood accents. Friendly and attentive reception and greeting crew! the tall ceilings in the king rooms give a grand beach spacious feel to an already big room. The owner’s inspiration for the build and design are so eco friendly and sooo Santa Cruz vibe. Enjoy!

We really enjoy and love this place! Would definitely come back again! All good memories! (The chocolate cake in lobby was amazing)

The location is excellent -- it's walking distance to downtown and a trail that leads to the Boardwalk. The room was clean and spacious and the king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. Self-parking is also available for an additional charge and very close to the hotel.

Some of the other reviews mention this, but noise really carries through the courtyard and into the rooms. We could hear every word of a Zoom call that was taken in the courtyard at 7am, which was not ideal. It would be great for the hotel to provide ear plugs or kindly suggests that guests to take calls inside the lobby/cafe areas, especially so early in the morning.
