The night of May 7th, 2026, we were offered a complimentary overnight stay and two $15 food/drink vouchers at Cambria in FLL due to our flight delay. Unfortunately, the receptionist on the evening shift (we arrived around 21:00, and I will not mention her name) was incredibly rude and by no means hospitable. She refused to help me redeem my vouchers correctly, even though I was trying to explain that my remaining balance was enough to cover the items I wanted to purchase. I later found out the next morning during check-out that, despite my explanation regarding the taxes and remaining balance, I had still been charged extra for some of the items. During/after check-in, while I was trying to calmly resolve the issue, she would repeatedly stare at the computer screen and almost completely ignore me. At one point, I politely asked her to at least look at me while we were having a conversation about the problem. She responded in a very aggressive tone, repeatedly saying she had no time for me. Thankfully, Debbee from the restaurant was kind enough to step in and help explain to the receptionist how much balance I had left after already using part of the voucher at the restaurant. Exhausted from the entire day and the stressful travel situation, I eventually decided to leave the voucher issue aside. I even asked the receptionist if she had a bad day and whether she wanted to talk about it, but that only seemed to make her more upset, so I decided to go to my room. As I walked toward the elevator, I could hear her mumbling words under her breath, which I will not repeat here. The following morning, another receptionist kindly helped correct the outstanding balance on my account, and manager Laura E. was extremely helpful and professional when I explained what had happened the night before. She genuinely listened, showed understanding, and assured me she would address the matter appropriately. On another note, the hotel was very nice and clean. The food from the restaurant was also delicious! 🍔 If it were not for Laura, Debbee, and the kind morning receptionist, I would have left with a very poor impression of the hotel and its service. They completely changed the experience for the better. At the end of the day, we all have difficult days, and I understand that. However, in hospitality especially, it is important not to transfer personal frustration or negative energy onto guests who are already dealing with stressful situations themselves.

I always love the pool and jacuzzi the most and how calm the area is.

I walked into my first room 215 and was there 4/29/2026 check-in time walked over to check out the beds black spots on the sheets and covers also smelled a little like mild dew. Not very clean go down stairs to inform the lady ( black lady orange burnt like hair) she is not the skinny young black lady she is a little older wearing light blue dress top hair was in a pony tail . She was nice nasty Im bringing my concerns about the room she is looking at me like are you serious and eye rolling I ask for change of room she give me a accessibility room and that was a little better 225 but guess what cakes and sprinkled smeared in the pull out bed and looks like pubic hairs. She comes up and wanna have a talking battle about the room when it’s not up to par for the money I spent and on my special day truly gave me a bad vibe on my birthday until I made the most with family. I couldn’t believe that lady truly disappointed I can be a better employee than that!

Staff was nice and rooms were clean.

Staff were all very nice and helpful. Pool was nice! Food was good!
