Quality Inn Mt Pleasant

I was shocked at the condition of this hotel. It was dirty, inside and out.

Breakfast was good

The lady at the front desk originally would not let me check in saying my booking was marked as a no show even though I was 1 hour behind what I put in as my check in and that I had already paid for night and 3 days total. She said I can call booking, so I did and they didnt want to answer the phone to booking customer service. She then told me that's why she steers everyone away from all websites that are not quality inn. 1 1/2 hours later she let me check in after getting off the phone with them. The room was filthy, I usually will wipe things down before my kiddos touch anything but as I began to wipe everything, it was just dirty! No usual dust but like it has never been wiped off from housekeeping. The carpet was horrible, with burn holes (non-smoking room), huge stains, sticky stains, blackened areas. Little to no toiletries (four people) came into the room with 3 bath towels, 1 wash cloth, 1 bathroom mat. The coffee machine did not work.

I been staying motel were is run by Indian people this the 3rd time I didn’t get my deposit back , I just notice only the hotels they give the deposit back, but motel they don’t

Very nice and clean room. Tv issues were resolved quickly. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices

How the front desk really didn’t want to give me my deposit money back, because it smelled like “marijuana”…from my clothes, I brought my own towels because God forbid I dried myself off with their towels and I’m on my cycle and I stain a little bit now it’s $20 from my deposit and I cleaned up my trash because that’s my entire $100 deposit gone. I brought my own blanket so I don’t accidentally have any stains from my cycle while I’m sleeping. Also brought my own pillows, overall it was quiet and peaceful but bed was very uncomfortable, holes on the main comforter. If you stay here and you smoke anything please spray yourself down with perfume or cologne because they will accuse you of smoking in the room even if you abide by the rules and step outside to smoke any tobacco!

Convenient location

No ventilation in the room (window was solid could not open) it got steamed up when you had a shower. The knobs to control the hot tub were rusted and broken. The toilet paper holder was rusted and falling out of the wall. The freezer was iced up and you couldn’t use it. The remote for the TV did not work and the furniture was falling apart.
