Motswiri Private Safari Lodge

1- The staff kindness, attention to detail and professionalism, from booking to departure! They all demonstrated initiative and care. They had organised some welcome hamper for us to celebrate a family occasion. Another day I felt unwell for reasons not related to the Property, and Bill offered to call the paramedics, who arrived within 30 min, solving the issue. 2- Ranger Barry is a keen ranger and photographer, always in the lookout for us to get the best sightings and photographs. We stayed 4 days and saw the big 5 plus many others, most of them repeatedly! We witnessed cheetahs and lions chasing antelopes and wilder beasts,…learnt about their habitat, customs…a wonderful experience!! 3- The location and facilities are 10 out of 10! Breakfast accompanied by elephants, pool dips being watched by klipspringers and baboons and nights cups watching buffaloes, zebras and other animals passing by…we will never forget the awesome sunsets!!!!

Motswiri exceeded expectations. The main lodge bar and dining area were beautiful and welcoming. We stayed in the family villa and it was so comfortable, well decorated, great spot to see animals walking to the water hole. Staff is so friendly. We loved riding with Barry - great animal spotter and tracker, very informative and engaging, and so fun to spend time with. A big thank you to Petunia in the main lodge for always engaging with the kids when we returned from drive! and for the great massage! In the reservations team, Tammy was amazing! And of course, Bill - who has great stories to share about drives!

Tolle Lage in Madikwe mit Blick auf Wasserloch. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes großes Haus mit eigenem Pool. Unser Ranger Barry war grandios- wir haben so viele Tiere mit ihm gesehen und uns jederzeit sicher gefühlt bei ihm! Tolle Game drives mit vielen Informativen. Supernette junger Kellner im Restaurant. Essen sehr gut.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, müsste zum Teil etwas renoviert werden. Information für ängstliche Europäer (Spinnen usw. Im Zimmer) wäre hilfreich. Aussendusche zwar cool, aber abends nicht nutzbar- da wäre ein zusätzlicher Duschschlauch in der Badewanne sehr hilfreich. Auffüllen des Büffets im Restaurant nur auf Nachfrage. Preis schon sehr ordentlich und es kommt auch noch Parkeintritt und conservation fee (rund 350 Euro für 3 Nächte) dazu!

En fantastisk og eventyrlig oplevelse, som vi varmt kan anbefale. Personalet var super imødekommende og serviceminded, og opholdet bød på tre uforglemmelige nætter. Der blev også serveret virkelig lækkert mad morgen, middag og aften.

Det er faktisk svært at finde noget at sætte en finger på, da oplevelsen var super god. Hvis vi endelig skal nævne et lille ting, så kunne det være, at vinkortet kunne have haft lidt større bredde og variation – særligt når det gælder kvalitetsvine. Et bredere udvalg ville have løftet helhedsoplevelsen yderligere.

Staff = amazing! Safari = excellent! Food = good! Room = superb! Overall experience = wonderful!

Meals were good, but we expected more given the price. Be prepared to pay some fees in the end (nothing major, but one should be told!)

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere with an excellent waterhole for wildlife viewing. Knowledgeable staff and great game drives. Small and personal lodge experience but not pretentious.

Motswiri lodge was amazing, set in the heart of the Madwike reserve. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We had a personal welcome and drink and show to beautiful large safari lodge room over looking the watering hole which had regular visits from Zebra, Elephants and wilder beasts! Bed was large and comfy with a massive bathroom with corner bath and a fabulous outside shower which we loved. Bar and restaurant were great and food was exceptional and plentiful! Staff couldn’t do enough for you and were always there for what ever you wanted, nothing was too much for them. Daily drive were brilliant and our guides Oness and Barry went to amazing lengths to find all the animals and bird we wanted to see (and more) wonderful stay, great place , great staff - we’ll be back for sure!
