This hotel was probably a high quality three star hotel in its early days. The lack of maintenance is visible in just about every facet (e.g. In the two rooms I stayed in, light globes missing and some power points not working, and in one room part of the door frame fell out, and carpet stains visible). That said, the hotel gets a favorable rating from me because of one factor -- the staff, especially Joan the Receptionist who was super helpful. They did deliver on a 'non-smoking' room. The free WiFi is a bit 'hit & miss' as other guests also found; best chance in remaining in the foyer/lounge area. To avoid paying more than necessary in taxi fares, get the hotel to arrange transport as they keep a list of trusted private taxi drivers. Hotel is located within 20 minutes of several main attractions. Overall - recommend this hotel for budget based travelers.

This hotel is perfect for Business travelers. I was here only for one day for business. The service was really a 6 out of 5. Good internet speed and a good breakfast. They also had fast money exchange in the hotel. The hotel staff were beyond helpful and professional. The room only gets low marks because of maintenance. The coffee maker did not have a safety switch, which meant that in 5 minutes the entire room was filled with vapor and I burned my hand trying to shut it off. The closet door was off its hinges, and the bathroom was in a desperate need of a remodel. However the room itself was well decorated, and it was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in YEARS. ! For me this hotel was a big win. Also it was close to the souk which is the happening place in town during the night.

The services are very limited, staff is trying their best but they do not have the tools, rooms need mainenance if you are stying for 2-3 days only the fisrst day you can have complimentary water and coffee, i need a mobile phone charger - not available, asked for a taxi- as advetrized 24 hours taxi service available, I was called private car(taxi) and the charges were 300% higher than th normal taxi

when i checked in they gave me the wrong room so and i had to wait an hour to get the right room. when i got the right room, the in room safe didn't work. they sent a tech up to fix it, he said he would go and get the master key, but didn't show for 2 hours, i had to call the reception 3 times and was left waiting for them. they couldn't fix it and they said maintenaince would come the next morning and fix it, they didn't and they came later in the afternoon, and they didn't fix it they just put another one there, which was not bolted down, and that also didn't end up working. i had to carry around my passport and valuables around while i was there. the location is not good at all. it is close to the souq's but thats abt it.

clean room, friendly staff, good value for the price

Close to the airport and quite. Without taxi its hard to reach anything, but museum of islamic art and Doha city center shopping mall and harbour is close by. For my short stay it was a good choice.

asian staff were friendly enough. the water in the shower was boiling hot and there is no cold tap. neighborhood was a bit scary.

Decent Hotel. Location is not too convenient and even the taxis can't find it. It was difficult to get a taxi from the hotel. Rooms are decent and reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Internet was fast. No real services / food / bar / shops / pool etc... But comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

A very affordable hotel. Better then staying at the 5 star hotels which are way more expensive.

The hotel crew is active and good services, the location in the town is good but the area is bad, when you come for business very cheap prices, good location, you will not care of the environment, not for tourism then
