"Enjoyed our stay"

10.0

Nice hotel and had a lovely meal in restaurant. It was a bit noisy due to private party but that’s our issue due to going to sleep early! Good breakfast too.

"Lovely. Would stay again. "

8.0

It's a lovely hotel, in a lovely village, with lovely staff. It's exactly what it is; nothing more, nothing less. Comfortable, enjoyable and most importantly we absolutely would stay there again.

"Disappointing"

3.0

The room was over-heated and over-fragranced. My room was overlooking the main road which was very noisy with traffic, both in the evening & early in the morning. I asked to switch room when I checked in at 3pm but was told it wasn't possible due to the hotel being fully booked that evening. I can understand this but given I was likely one of the first to check in, I was surprised that no effort was even made to accommodate my request. I was just told no. The bed was out dated and hard and the windows dusty and dirty. I have stayed before in one the garden rooms which I liked but the room in the main building was really disappointing
