Hotel Taskonaklar Cappadocia - Special Class

Exceptional. I've used "excellent" several times in reviews but, here at Moniq, the restaurant at Taskonaklar Hotel, "Exceptional" is truly well deserved. Our three breakfasts and evening meals were all delicious authentic culinary experiences with flavours, presentation and service to match. And the hotel, Taskonaklar, is similarly wonderful - the rooms, the view from the terrace and the lovely staff - all deserve the highest commendation.

Every detail, from the cozy interiors to the peaceful garden, is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the beauty of the region. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh local ingredients, and was served with a view that made each morning feel special. The staff went above and beyond, offering helpful tips, arranging tours, and making us feel completely at home. Taskonaklar isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a full sensory experience. Peaceful, beautiful, and filled with charm, it made our trip to Cappadocia truly unforgettable.

Beautiful hotel and great service.

Our family had an outstanding time-we went to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday - another celebration happened there- our daughter’s boyfriend proposed to her on a beautiful plateau with an assortment of food and champagne and hot air balloons in the background- this all happened after our family had our sunrise air balloon trip! It was a magical stay with the unfailingly help of Resul and Omer! Our cave rooms were very unique and so comfortable. Our private cave dinners were amazing. The staff helped with any tour we were interested in and recommended the best guides on our various tours. We couldn’t ask for better service and always with a smile!

Amazing experience. Stayed three nights and ate breakfast and dinner at hotel. We would have stayed much longer had we been able to. Beautiful hotel, room was clean and spacious, bed most comfortable, service exceptional. Particular thanks to the following staff: Meryem, Burch and Resul. The location is probably the best in Uchisar with stunning views of the valley. Numerous intimate common areas to enjoy the view and a nice drink. Rooms are well spaced so you never get the impression of a large crowd. Restaurant is beautifully located with floor to ceiling windows with views of the valley below. Here again, staff was very professional, polite and efficient. Menu gives the chef’s interpretation of traditional Turkish food in addition to additional excellent option. Breakfast was copious and delicious

We loved our stay at Taskonaklar! The setting was amazing in a cave and with wow views of the beautiful Cappadocia landscape! Each room was designed with detail and style ! The staff is amazing! Attentive, kind, quick to respond and so thoughtful! All the activities we did were so well done; BBQ overlooking the Goreme natural formations, balloon ride and ATV ride excellent! We loved our stay ❤️

My wife and both agree, this is the exact type of place we like ti vacation in. Small enough for the personal touch yet all of the amenities we were looking for. The views and grounds were special. Plus the the restaurant was fantastic!

Book the room! Stay here, and stay for as long as possible. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable (the pillow menu saved my sore neck), the staff is exceptional, and the location is magical. We are counting the days until we can come back.

The staff was friendly and helped us plan our activities. The room was lovely and the view from the hotel of Cappadocia was gorgeous.

Excellent views from the property of pigeon valley, terrific restaurant, excellent service, Resul and Burcu and the rest of the team did a wonderful job in making our family feel welcome.
