Hotel Leonardo is a wonderful small boutique hotel located right in the heart of the historic old town of Český Krumlov. The hotel is full of character and charm, with traditional furnishings and a cozy atmosphere that perfectly reflects the rich history of this beautiful medieval town. Staying here feels like stepping back in time and becoming part of the city's unique story. The location is excellent, allowing easy access to all the main sights, restaurants, and picturesque streets. Breakfast was served in a nearby sister hotel owned by the same company and was varied, fresh, and very enjoyable. A charming and authentic place to stay that we would happily recommend to anyone visiting Český Krumlov.

The rooms were very clean and tidy, the staff was super friendly, and especially the breakfast was delicious (although it is true that there were not many options). We had the sausages with eggs and an orange juice, highly recommendable! There breakfast location is a lovely café with two very kind ladies, and I think that was the best of our stay. The location is also perfect, right at the old center of the town. Everything in town was within 5 minutes walking distance.

Unfortunately, we underestimated how uncomfortable the beds would be. The mattresses are very thin and rigid, and the pillows are so low and soft that they don’t really hold your head properly. The bedroom can get quite hot and stuffy during warm summer days, which does not really go away with open windows and the fan they offer you. Because of this we only got 4 to 5 hours of sleep every night, which ruined a bit the relaxing experience we were expecting at the lovely town of Český Krumlov. The result was that we ended up wandering around town like zombies, with pain on both our necks and backs, which kind of took over much of our experience. I really have nothing else to say about the place, it was a top location, the staff was really friendly and we enjoyed our breakfasts a lot. But only for how uncomfortable the beds were, we would not come back.

This was our second time at the hotel - we are a cycling group from Ireland - and both stays have been excellent. The location and the rooms can't be faulted. The hotel is also relatively quiet, which is surprising given the number of people who pass in the streets. Would definitely use again.

Pillows could be better.

Die Einrichtung war sehr schön und stilvoll. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut, insbesondere der Kaffee (vom siebträger!)
