The room was fine. A bit dated but clean. Bed was comfortable.

would have been nice if there was notice about the restaurant nearby being shut down, since they mention it on their website as a place to eat while you stay

5 stars: Sean was great! Friendly and very helpful. Gave us a choice of the 2 pet-friendly rooms as we traveled with 3 dogs. There was plenty of space for them to run. The beds were comfortable. Had a restaurant next door which was ok. A pub i short drive away that had amazing food. (Huge portions) 1star: the room was very old, run down and had the worst smell ever!! We even bought candles. They didn't help. The separate bedroom was a nice touch but the smell was unbearable. Slept with the window wide open. The tv was hanging downward from the wall which we had to fix ourselves. Had to fight to get connected to the internet. Shower was ok if you're 5' tall. Both kitchen chairs had a big hole in the seats. I'm not kidding, the smell of the room stayed on our clothes. We had booked room for 2 nights through Expedia with the 1 stipulation that it was fully refundable. We thought it was a perfect choice for where we wanted to explore. We checked out a day early because of being absolutely disgusted. My husband told me not to complain and to make up a lie why we were leaving because we are not rude people. Not much disgusts me but this place certainly did! Thinking that we would get a refund for the second night, we checked out. Could only reach management through the phone. Sean said there is normally no refunds but will see if we could give us a partial refund. I have tried calling 5 times since we left and he will not even answer the phone. Wasted $398!!! NOT IMPRESSED!!!

Good for the price but budget motel.

Conveniently located for our needs. A bit of traffic noise and room next door noise.

The location is great when visiting Chemainus. The staff , "Iced" was very friendly and professional. The drapes in the first room did not close completely and the TV didn't work. The Staff quickly replaced that room with suitable equipment. The motel was worth the money and I would stay again.
