Kavos Hotel

We stayed one night before our departure flight. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The facilities were excellent and the view very nice. There are no restaurants within walking distance but the staff can give recommendations for restaurants within a 5 minute drive or help you order delivery.

A FANTASTIC hidden treasure with an incredible setting and such sweet owners. We loved it and hope to come again soon.

Really nice hotel, I was surprised how clean the facilities was. The swimming pool was great as well as the jacuzzi. The staff was really friendly and helped us out whenever we needed. The hotel provides car rentals which is cheaper then anywhere else.

This is a nice hotel on the coast with sea views. The amenities are good, including a pool and well appointed rooms. However the hotel is about 15 minutes drive from Chiania which means you need to have a car in order to easily access the sights. It also makes it that much further to be able to drive to other locations on the island.

It's one of those places where you may just stay one night but wish you would have stayed longer. Apartments are clean, beds (unlike anywhere else in this country) were comfortable, service very friendly, pool area has beautiful views of snow covered mountains as well as the sea. Breakfast was ok too. Would go back without hesitations.

OK, my wife and I stayed here on the last two days of the hotel being open in the 2014 season ( closes end of October to April). Let's just say that the staff is mega friendly and informative. From check-in to check-out, we had only pleasant interactions with everyone. We had a car and drove around west Crete from here. It was perfect distance to all. The owner informed us the hotel will be getting a new larger and trendier pool over the winter to welcome the new season, including a hot tub. This will only make the place even better. Our room was comfortable, and I really enjoyed the multi-head shower. Also in room were a small fridge and an oven. The balcony overlooked the water, and there were fresh flowers growing on the premises giving a nice scent when walking around. We will definitely stay here if back on Crete! No hesitation with this one.

This hotel came at a great price and included a free breakfast. The hotel manager and staff were quite friendly and welcoming. The buildings and rooms looked new and were clean. The mattresses were very firm, this did not bother me but it might bother someone used to a soft bed. The hotel has a nice salt water pool. It is not on the beach, but Stavros beach is nearby and some people were swimmimg in the rocky coves by the hotel (it is on the seaside, just not a beach).

Excellent hotel, certainly a little piece of paradise in Crete. It's pretty remote so you would certainy need a car but once you get there it really is very peaceful and the sunset is lovely. Very romantic for couples. Room was very clean, well equipped, bathroom was of a very high standard and the design of the hotel (or I should say apartments) is very modern. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to a friend, and well priced.
