Beautiful spacious apartment in a gorgeous setting, quite and serene. Very clean and comfortable. Would like to have stayed longer.

The location is a bit remote - had to drive to find a restaurant. If we had stayed longer would have brought food back to the apartment to prepare.

The pool was very good, the views were beautiful, and the rooms were spacious. The historic building and rural Tuscan setting are attractive, and the man at reception was helpful once we managed to find the correct check-in location.

The main issue for us was the location, access and signage. We arrived on foot and found it extremely difficult to work out where to go. The location shown and the actual reception/check-in area seemed to be in quite different places, possibly around 1–1.5 km apart and down a hill. It took us over an hour to find the correct place, which was very frustrating after travelling. For guests without a car, the signage and directions really need to be much clearer. The property is also very remote. The nearest supermarket is around 7 km away and the nearest restaurant is still a few kilometres away, so guests need to arrive fully prepared. Given this, it was disappointing that there were no basic supplies available to buy on site, and very little provided in the room/apartment. There were some tea bags, but no coffee capsules and no basic welcome items. The beds were also very uncomfortable for us, with very hard mattresses. In addition, there were no mosquito nets on the windows, which meant we could not comfortably leave the windows open, despite the rural location and insects. Overall, the setting is beautiful, the views are lovely, the pool is good, and the rooms are spacious. However, I would only recommend this property to guests arriving by car, bringing their own food and supplies, and expecting to cook for themselves. It is not a practical choice for people travelling on foot.

Le carde très beau, calme, à la campagne, exactement ce qu’on cherche quand on vient en Toscane. Logement rustique, confortable, grand, lits confortables. Nous avons été seuls durant notre séjour et nous avons eu la piscine, la zone barbecue que pour nous. Le Monsieur qui nous a accueilli a été adorable et très arrangeant, nous nous sommes perdus et il est venu nous chercher en voiture. Très réactif pour répondre à nos questions où nous aider.

Juste que notre logement a été un peu loin de la piscine et de la zone barbecue, mais c’est si l’on veut vraiment chercher une petite bête. Car nous avons passés un très bon séjour

Spacious, rustic, and comfortable apartment with a great view of Tuscany. If you have a car, the place is perfect. They allowed us to arrive late without any problem and showed us around the property.
