"Nice, welcoming hotel"

Good quality, friendly hotel in a convenient location. We had a small but cosy room with a very clean bathroom - it was very quiet despite the hotel being located at a quite busy road. The manager was extremely helpful, she ordered a taxi for us and said goodbye when we were leaving at 5 am for the airport. Breakfasts were tasty but you could tell the ingredients were not of a premium quality. Also, the room and bathroom were a bit cold (we stayed there in November - a warm weekend, but still...). The only major disadvantage (for me) was that you had to ask for tea/coffee to be provided (I am an excessive tea drinker). We had an electric kettle and cups in the room and it wouldn't hurt to put a few bags of tea there too... But in general, I can definitely recommend.

"Lovely hostess"

Our hosts were outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and Madame in particular was ourstanding in the way she provided information and help. Some lovely restaurants at the end of the street and despite torrential rain on the first day we were in Porto we enjoyed the care and warmth that was provided by Mira D'Adaire.
