Staff were fantastic Osama really looked after me,moving bags ,etc.Nothing was too much trouble.

The sink we reported not draining on night 1 was not resolved over a 2 night stay. The toilet joined the sink on the second night and backed up. I can assure you nothing but poo, pee and toilet roll went down it. The curtains were hanging off the curtain track in lots of places. There's a big hole in the lino in the bathroom which is quite disgusting as it looks dirty. One bathmat and no hand towel between 4 of us. Reception was very shabby. Didn't see any staff so can't comment on them.

Booked to stay here for three nights as I was working away with a friend and upon the morning of the first night we decided to unpack as we didn’t when we first arrived and we was tired and on doing so we pulled out what we thought was a little draw on the Cabinet and it was a slide out flat draw for what it’s use I don’t know but the previous guest clearly had other ideas for it as there was what I believe to be cocaine residue all over it. I notified staff in the morning and explained the situation and called booking.com to which as was agreed they would cancel the other two nights and refund me but this has not been the case. Barrington has since denied this and I have been going back and fourth with them and ultimately they are refusing to refund me. Me and my friend are both in recovery and have multiple years between us and we attend CA meetings regularly and therefor did not want to stay there after discovering what we did. The rooms are small, dated and grubby like the entrance and the bed was extremely uncomfortable so there is not much going for this shambolic establishment and to top it of the room clearly was not cleaned thoroughly. I could go on and on but I have tried to keep this relatively short but I have done a lot of drugs in my life and know what I am looking at. Avoid this place at all costs because it’s awful inside out along with whoever runs it.
