Well located in the center of the towns, ok rooms

The communication with the receptionist- we had a stinky room at the beginning, impossible to sleep in. Initially they refuse to change is saying they don’t have other room available- nevertheless, after we discussed with Bookings they find a room . The hotel looks better in photos than in reality

Proximity to the town was great, friendly staff, nice breakfast and pool

Everything was generally great, wall in the bedroom were dusty any hallway walls needed painting

Location was very central, easy walking everywhere. Room was nice and things felt new.

After we checked out and left, I was charged 16 nzd. Regent emailed me a receipt that was not itemized and just said I was charged this amount. I emailed the property to ask for details and have not received a response after 2 days. The email says I may inquire at reception for more details which is not possible after leaving. It's hard to recommend a place when you receive ghost charges and when you ask about them receive silence. Update: the hotel emailed me back with a receipt for items from the mini-bar which we hadn't touched. They refunded us the original amount.
