Hotel Sonnenberg

Stunning view, amazing breakfast with great cheese selection, very comfortable rooms, which were very close to the bathrooms! We enjoyed a lot our stay. The restaurant area is really fancy and nice!

Just a note that the hotel is located at the top of a mountain, so accessible by car basically. The view is worth it!!

Hôtel un peu excentré mais avec une jolie vue (malheureusement pas de notre chambre qui donnait sur des panneaux solaires). Rien à dire sur la propreté. Agréable terrasse et bon petit déjeuner.

Nous pensions pouvoir prendre une navette mais les horaires n’étaient pas clairs tout comme la télécabine qui ne dessert pas le centre de Lucerne mais de Krientz. Nous n’avions pas noté que les sanitaires étaient communs. Pas commode lorsque on se lève la nuit car la lumière vive s’allume automatiquement dans le couloir. Réveil garanti pour le conjoint ! Nous serrons plus attentifs à cela. Enfin pour une catégorie simple le prix est élevé mais nous sommes en Suisse …

Buona posizione, staff accogliente e molto gentile. Letto comodo. Buona colazione. Molto pulito. Abbiamo un cane: ci hanno fatto trovare nella stanza ciotola e tappetino; un pensiero gentile, visto che non c'è nemmeno una quota extra per gli animali. Dintorni molto belli per passeggiate.

The breakfast is very good and the staff very very kind. The location is also great, amazing views. To go to Lucerne you need to take the funicular and then a bus, ot by car. The hotel has a great mini-golf and is ideal for hikilcking and relax.

Bedroom are very small and extremely hot in summer. They dont have AC and it is a massive miss as sleep is very difficult. Open the windows doesn't solve the issue as you room will be full of bugs instantly. Lastly, they have shared bathrooms but probably that was on me as I missed that in the description.
