Hotel Alpana

Excellent Hotel. In the middle of Local market and near 10 mins walking distance to Har ki Pauri.

Since it's in Street of Local market, 4 wheelers don't have access between 9.30 am till late night. But auto rickshaw have access.

Hotel was located close to the main sights in Haridwar. we could walk there. The staff was helpful and the hotel was located in a real Indian market atmosphere. Early check-in was possible without extra costs.

The decoration was a bit outdated, but actually it didn't hinder, because the service was good. Except from the manager communication was difficult, because English was poor. But nevertheless we could check in early and got a room half a day before real check in time.

The staff and the facilities were nice

The beds felt like there were bed bugs It was 1:00 am so we didn't make a fuss

Location

The location was good. The staff members were helpful. The manager seemed to care about the well-being of the guests.

Although the location was good, the hotel is situated along a very narrow, congested street. It is not accessible by car. You have to take a rickshaw to go to the hotel. I would recommend guests not to stay in this Har-ki-pauri area.

Cars cannot come to the hotel gate.
