"Value for money that we paid and comfortable."

staff were helpful and friendly and explained everything. plenty of car parking. The room was nice and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.

The decoration was looking a bit tired. wallpaper peeling off in the room.

Reception was welcoming, friendly and informative. Plenty of parking. The breakfast food was good and nice selection.

Black mold on ceiling bathroom, easily sorted! Smell in bedroom. Reason for poor score was breakfast time. One staff member who arrived through service, very loud, talking about a sick bug going around and how ill the staff member who served me was (just what you want to hear when they have served you breakfast) then he continued to discuss staff members, it was so unprofessional and shocking, spoiled my stay and couldn’t wait to get out. It’s like an obvious rule not to do this in front of customers. I’m sure their work level is good but just have some respect on what people are hearing. The lady who served me was actually very nice and attentive.

Easy location to find and free car parking. Bedroom clean and bed comfortable. Staff polite

Allocated suite 5 floors up lots of stairs not suitable for older customers no lift Bathroom floor badly marked with spilt black paint looked horrible. Cooked breakfast was mildly warm not freshly cooked only 1 sausage (possible reheated) not worth the £12.50 price

"Comfortable overnight stay in Hook"

Comfortable acconnidation for our group comprising two adults and two children. Staff were lovely and the breakfast had plenty of choice. We appreciated that parking was included in the room price.

Even though the room had been paid in full, we were told on arrival that the full price had not been paid and we had to pay GBP27 to get access to the room. Once the situation was explained the next morning, the hotel initiated a refund of this extra payment. The refund was received within 5 days as promised. Though resolved promptly, the experience was unsettling.
