Helpful staff, nice quiet room, great foid

Fantastic place, comfortable room with everything needed. Great food in the restaurant. Little touches like personalised hand written welcome note in the room. A mini milk churn for the fresh milk on the drinks tray. Friendly staff. Will use again.

All in all it’s the staff who make this property special! So friendly and no request is ever too big xx

Accommodation was very comfortable and clean, with excellent facilities. However, the cooked breakfast was tepid at best.

Stayed here when visiting our daughter in Sheffield. Whilst you need a car to get in and out of the city, I can really recommend this hotel. Good value, quiet and comfortable. Nice decor, great food an service.

Lovely big room with all you would need to have a comfortable overnight stay. I forgot to tell them that the shower hose leaked a little and the floor got wet when I showered. Otherwise everything was perfect. Bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend the Red Lion for a relaxing stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. The rooms have clearly recently been refitted to a very nice standard. Staff were helpful and the restaurant very good.
