Bell Hotel & Inn by Greene King Inns

Great Hotel, they have their own restaurant directly across the road. Couldnt fault it.

The location of the Pub in Woburn is very central and surrounded by local amenities

Our room (number 1) was adjacent to the outside seating area and a crowd were talking loudly until 12:30. Then there was a noisy water tank filling. The room was very cluttered with large furniture. The lighting in bathroom was totally inadequate for shaving with no light over the mirror. So we have not had a good experience here and would not seek to stay in a similar Green king establishment again.

Room a bit small, but there’s everything you need. Good choice of tea and coffee, no where to hang clothes - but for one night that’s okay. Very kind duty manager, who said I could have I lie down in the room after check out, when she discovered I was having a dizzy spell.

Easy to find, check in and everyone was friendly and helpful both in the hotel and the pub. Will be back next time I have to be in the area.

Good location and cost effective for a client meeting nearby, room was a bit cramped and noisy, the staff at the inn and restaurant (across the road) were very friendly and helpful.

Deceptive. Reception is on par with many excellent hotels which I have stayed in " country house style" friendly and very helpful reception lady (even a small library complete with comfortable leather wing chairs) however, rooms are somewhat "tired" and in need of a refurb, although that said, the room itself was clean, warm, plenty of towels and the bed was extremely comfortable. non the less, well worth £55 for one nights stay but I think that a week could become somewhat challenging. The sink in the bathroom, in fact the whole bathroom is extremely "tiny". I have stayed at The Bell several times and on all occasions, to facilitate "on suite" facilities, I have yet to find a room where I am able to wash my face without removing the glass tray above the sink with my head or soaking the floor (although from the condition of the shelf, it appear that many have tried without success!)

Very friendly, clean and reasonably priced.

Rude staff we were told we could smoke our the back when we did we were ahouted at and charged 100 pound it...

Fantastic staff, they went out of they way to help.
