Old Manse Hotel Bourton by Greene King Inns

Great position, comfortable but a very small room. Tiny bathroom and difficult to navigate and put basic bathroom stuff.

Stayed here 1 night in January. Warm welcome from check-in staff. Location is obviously fantastic. We couldn’t park on site (only about 8 spaces) but were advised to park in the Royal British Legion for £3 a day and about a 5 to 10 minute walk. Nice room, stylish decor, comfortable bed (slept well), and fairly sizable though en-suite very small and verging on unpractical; radiator right next to the toilet so you can burn yourself while you go, and the shower cubicle door opens outwards and hits the sink, can see this being a safety issue in future. When next refurbishing, consider expanding the size of the en-suite a little. The main radiator in room 8 didn’t work. An electric radiator was provided as an alternative, but for over £85 a night I would expect all facilities to be in working order. We had our evening meal at the hotel. The food was good for quality and portions, but this was an expectation since it is pricier than other pubs in Bourton. Overall, a pleasant stay - thank you to all the staff that made it happen.

Nice hotel in the centre, could walk all around and didn’t need the car. Staff attentive and just a lovely old hotel.

I was very comfortable during my stay. The staff were all very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to see the the log fire burning in the bar area.

Ideal location right in the middle of Bourton, close to all the attractions. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Hotel would benefit from a refurb although it was clean and adequate. Car parking is limited but we managed to find a space every day.

No parking available, contrary to listing. WiFi connectivity is nil. Connection to “The Cloud” lasts for 45 seconds before it disappears. Then you have to reboot all over again. Room is nice, clean, and funky. Low ceilings. Bathroom tub fixtures come off but go back on. Good hot water.

Comfortable stay, nice staff. Not much parking so had to find some offsite but otherwise a pleasant stay. Beautiful area, some lovely tearooms nearby

The hotel is not easy to find and parking is even more difficult. Even though we arrived at the start of the check-in 'window', all of the on-site parking was already taken and we had to park on the street which was some way from the hotel and carry our luggage a long way. The hotel then told us we could stay in the British Legion car park which was even further away. I'm not sure how official this arrangement was and we felt obliged to donate £5 to the charity.
