Cheap enough, free parking and friendly staff.

I was working away and thought a single would be fine. The room was very small, the shower was terrible with lack of pressure. The furniture was well used, not bedside table, used to have a fridge but was a gap with a plug socket that didn’t work and the other socket was near the bathroom.

Location was good for the wedding went well attended at Houchins. Old building full of character. Very friendly and helpful staff. An active pub with plenty going on in terms of events. We had both breakfast and dinner there and both were good.

The building is old so the rooms get warm in hot weather. However there are fans in the rooms.

Great location, friendly staff and very clean.

The shower was on the small side

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. There is a nice outside seating area and the hotel is in a good central position in this lovely village.

The first room we slept in was right next to the kitchen extractor fan so we couldn't open the windows which made the room far too hot. However, we were moved to a much more comfortable room when we asked to change rooms for the second night.
