White Hart Hotel by Greene King Inns

Not a lot.

The whole property needs a huge investment and update. We were in room 6. I suspect this bathroom was fitted a very long time ago. It’s so dated and “ of an era” and does not fit with in the price charged for this room.I I specifically asked for a quiet room, which clearly room 6 was not. When you ask for special requests, why then do you deliberately allocate the opposite. The management must have known this was not a quiet room. This room was directly above the kitchen. Which meant the staff were outside chatting when on a break or whatever below our window. Also lots of banging doors etc particularly in the morning…and I’m talking 7.00 am onwards. I’m afraid I was not impressed. The room was very unimpressive. But it was clean.

My husband and I attended a wedding at Marks Hall Estate and wanted a good quality hotel close by. The White Hart was perfect. Just 8 minutes door to door. A lovely breakfast too. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved the history of the building, which I had to google to find out about. The rooms and corridors were rickety (which I love.) The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast once we got it was lovely.

There were no USB ports to charge phones with. There were no plates to put toast on, or knives available to spread jams and butter. No spoons to dish up the yoghurt. The coffee and milk were not filled regularly. It's just small details that would bring it up to a better score.
