"Night stay in Halstead, Essex."

Comfortable bed, excellent food and facilities, private parking, and good position in nice village. The building started off in the 1500s and the look has been maintained, very interesting. Would sray again.

Bedroom was over the bar and one window didn't close properly letting traffic noise in.

Great value for money. Beds are super comfy. Love the quirkyness of the whole place. Room, was very clean. Staff were very friendly.

Streaky bacon on the breakfast! It's just a tiny thing but I've never had a full English that didn't have back bacon on it
