Dartbridge Inn by Greene King Inns

The food was excellent, good price too, and the team checked everything was ok but not intrusively. The room was clean and fresh. I couldn't hear anything from the bar which is a bonus. Will definitely stay again.

Road noise was bad but they did provide ear plugs.

Room was clean and well maintained, it was as I would expect a Green King hotel to be.

Staff that were on were very good, however I could see that they were unable to be as attentive as they wished as there was not enough of them. One person was trying to manage the bar and the bookings for rooms. No one about at all when we left the hotel.

Pleasant country pub atmophere with good food selection at breakfast and in the evening. Friendly staff.

The room was a bit hot although it was a cool night (around 10 degrees outside). There is a fast and busy road in front of the hotel. I couldn't leave the window open because of the traffic noise. To be fair there were ear plugs left on the desk for guests which is a nice gesture. An issue which is not the hotel's fault: there is no pavement for pedestrians to get to the hotel as the hotel is located in a large motorway junction. I arrived on foot after a long walk and it wasn't a pleasant experience walking on the grass with overgrown vegetation on the edge of the road for around 300m.

No where to walk dog from property. Tired room with water drip and running all night. Too hot and window opening restrictions meant couldn’t cool room down. Room run down with artic hanging off ceiling and poor decoration. Cleaning taking place whilst eating breakfast and breakfast missing items advertised. Black pudding burnt to cinder. No staff at breakfast to talk too and no interest in our breakfast experience. No one around for checkout to explain issues too.

Breakfast was really tasty. We ate dinner there twice too and prices were reasonable. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The price was affordable too. Plenty of free parking as well.

The room was quite hot on the first night we were there and the traffic noise was unpleasant. We were aware we booked a pub at the side of the road but the single glazing really didn't deafen the noise at all. The inn is aware as they left complementary ear plugs, but they did nothing to deaden the noise. Better glazing is needed. It's a shame as the inn is great. We would stay again but would request a room away from the road.

Staff were attentive, friendly. Food was great .

Kitchen noise, (Room 10) bottle recycling at 6am! . Bedroom window blown so hard to see out . Think room 10 isn’t a good room to let out

Such a friendly family pub with comfy rooms and great food. We love staying at the Dartbridge.
