No table for to have a dinner in the restaurant.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Schloss Edesheim for one night in late July shortly before returning home from three weeks in Europe. We booked it on a whim one morning for arrival in the afternoon, and are very glad that we did. The schloss is beautiful with very pretty grounds. Our view of the countryside from the third floor room window was breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Communication via email was prompt and helpful. Edesheim the town was great for wine-tasting and exploring the countryside. We did a nice hike the next day. Would definitely stay here again - and really hope to do so!

Restaurant was not available during our stay. It is historic, so if you come during the summer, it's hot, so be prepared to open the windows at night to get a cool breeze. (No fans available) The outside was beautiful, but needed a little upkeep

Upgraded to really fancy rooms. Beautiful castle, gardens and setting. Hotel staff helpful changing room before our stay to a lower floor. All staff friendly and helpful. Beer was good too.

Vegetarian options on the menu were not great. Would be good to have protein included such as egg, quorn or cheese, nuts and seeds to replace the meat. Cous cous was presented beautifully but had no flavour or substance to it. I find this lots of places, cheese omelette or nut roast option would be a fantastic sight for this vegetarian to see on a menu ;0)

Fantastic older style Hotel and grounds. Superb Restaurant ! Comfy beds.

Nothing. But there is no lift to upper floors...

A beautiful property close to the the French Alsace region. Great breakfast and a nice rural yet close to city type feel. They have a few similar properties throughout Germany. A great breakfast too with the best coffee!

If you don’t like steps, be sure to book lower floors. We are young and we managed bring on the 4th floor.

Perfect place amidst vineyards, good breakfast.. pleasant location.
