We had a wonderful stay at Ocean View House. We booked the Panorama Apartment 2, which is spacious and offers a beautiful terrace with views of the ocean and Lion's Head – it was sublime. Every evening, a magnificent sunset unfolded right in front of our terrace. A parking space was provided very close to the room, giving us complete independence. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of products and a cook to prepare our favorite eggs. One minor drawback: the hotel's two swimming pools are not heated, so the water is only 20°C. Another issue is that the toilet in the room is not soundproofed; it opens almost directly into the bedroom, which can be a bit noisy.

Wonderful guest house on the outskirts of Camps Bay - easy to walk in the bay. Warm hospitality at its best, friendly and everything of a high standard. We stayed at the beginning of our trip to the cape and are staying again before we depart at the end of trip. The gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed having a lovely area outside of our room to relax. Views of the coast were stunning. Highly recommend and we have, our family have now booked there too.

My husband and I stayed at Ocean View House in January of 2026 and had a fantastic experience. Beautiful gardens and pool area, excellent service, safe location. We couldn’t recommend this property more and will be staying here for future visits.

The staff and owners were lovely - very friendly and helpful. Our first room had a very small balcony so we changed to one which could accommodate sun loungers. This was our last stay after a busy time travelling so it was great to chill out and shelter on our terrace from the wind whilst overlooking the ocean.

Maybe a bit nearer to the main strip but taxis were very cheap.
