Location and safety

The location of the hotel is good and the area feels safe. However, my overall experience was disappointing. Although I arrived at the time I had informed in advance, my room was not ready. The curtains had just been washed and were still wet, which made the room very humid and uncomfortable to sleep in. The reception service was also quite poor. The staff seemed slow and not welcoming, and after check-in, the reception was often unavailable. Breakfast was very limited and below expectations. Unfortunately, apart from the location, I would not recommend this hotel.

The hallway smelled terribly of cat litter, and the smell hadn't completely gone from the room either. I wouldn't recommend this room for people with cat allergies.

Excellent location in a pretty street with views out over the lake. The room had a fridge and kettle. Very comfortable. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Emails were answered very quickly.
