Sandown Heritage Motel

Low cost, and stay went as expected.

The property was clean but could use some low-cost maintenance like tidying up grouting in shower, re-siliconing in shower, etc.

Access to a pool, location to family and shops. Good communication with staff about what we required throughout our stay eg, as we were there for a week we didn't want our room serviced everyday but could ask for a room clean as requested.

Aspects of the room - no mattress protectors, net curtains not hung properly and a smudge of red paint on them, microwave not cleaned. Nightstand drawers not cleared out. Fridge could have done with a wipe down.

Lovely motel. Friendly staff very accommodating. My room was lovely and comfortable. The spa was great too. Would definitely stay there again.
