Maki Apartments

That was a memorable holiday at the most beautiful place with an accomodation which can be only labelled "value for money" The beach is gorgeous, we have visited quite a number of them in Montenegro and other lands - so we have some vision. The hosts are friendly, responsive and reliable.

To be honest up front, I did not stay at the Maki apartments, but I do feel it is important and noteworthy to mention the class of personnel that you will conduct business with, should you decide to stay here. I chose to stay at the Maki because of the amazing reviews that it recieved from Tripadvisor. I had booked 4 rooms at the Maki for a group trip for 8 people (2 people per room). One of our friends had an emergency and was unable to go, so I kindly asked Maki personnel is I could modify the reservation down to 3 rooms. Although they did not have to do this, I explained the situation, and they allowed us to remove one room from the exsisting reservation. Awesome. We then recieved an advisory message, not to travel to Podgorica, Montenegro (not Tivat) due to weather. Since we were flying into Podgorica, this effectively cancelled our trip (we are military and were instructed not to go into this area). I then explained the second set of circumstances to the Maki apartments personnel, and they made the decision to refund 100% of my money, as a result of the military's decision, denying us this trip. Unbelievable. This was something, again, that they did not have to do. The area that was affected was up north, WELL away from the hotel, but since we were flying into Podgorica, they were very understanding and accomodating. they did not even keep the money, and attempt to lock us in (by providing a credit). This was especially wonderful, considering we all lost our money from the car rentals and plane ticket! The responses were always answered immediately and with the utmost professionalism. I will make a trip out to Tivat, and stay that the Maki apartments when the situation permits. Very pleased, indeed and wanted to share this with anyone who decides to go to the Tivat area. I feel very comfortable dealing with the friendly and professional personnel at the Maki. Thumbs (way) up!!

The apartment is about 20 min away from Kotor, the taxi cost us 13 euro. Without a car it's there is not much close by besides a very nice beach with all the amenities needed in 10 min walking distance and some restaurants. The landlady organized a rental car for us by phone which was dropped off 1 hr later. Breakfast is available upon request but the apartment offers pots, dishes, etc, refridgerator and washer making it easy to live self-sufficient for a while I would definitely recommend the place and come back myself, and by the way the price is unbeatable.

We had a very pleasant stay!! the hostel host was very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome! Rooms have a small kitchen and there's a supermarket near by (3m walk) and there's a very nice beach nearby (10m walk) great for kids. we really recommend it!! 10/10.

A very nice accommodation in a fantastic environment close to the sandy beach with blue and clean water. Our apartment was very clean and tidy, the microwave oven was brand new, and so was the hair drier. The beds were soft and good to sleep in. We spent a lot of time on the terrace, listening to the birds and looking att the mountains. The proprietors did realy make us feel welcome. They was very helpful with everything, from drive us to Tivat to make breakfast, doing the laundry and giving a hand in finding a rent a car agency. We stayed there for 10 days and everything was perfect. The houselady was very friendly and helpful. Neighborhood was very quiet and countryside-like with a superb view of big mountains. Sand beach was nearby (10 minutes of walk) and there were a lot of other nice beaches easy accessible by a car. Pricing was excellent for a very good quality. We loved it there and definitely would recommend to anybody!

For sure this is the best place where I ever spent my summer vacation. We travelled with a child (3,5 years) and were very pleased with the hotel itself (rooms), its location and the hosts (some words later). Maki Apartments is located not far from a sandy beach where you can go either by foot or by bus. We went with a child every day by foot (about 12-15 minutes) to and from the beach - it was no significant problem. The sea is shallow near the shore - excellent for kids. Radovici is a quiet village (not for nightlife and crowdy loud places lovers) located near the airport of Tivat (10-15 minutes by taxi) and the city of Kotor with wonderful old town (15-20 minutes by taxi, which is not expensive). The rooms have all necessary things: a small electric kitchen stove, a fridge, dishes, iron (was provided by hosts at our first request), air condition, TV (we had a room with DVD). Everything is clean, tidy and creates the feeling of home. Food: you can cook youself (there are several supermarkets), or ask the owners (Zorica cooks simple, but very tasty breakfast and dinner) or go to one of several restaurants. Some words about the owners - you will definitely be surprised with their kind and helpful attitude to their guests. Both of them create a wonderful atmosphere, which is very important when you're on vacation (especially with children). To sum up - wonderful place for a quiet, relaxed stay and positive impressions

We visited the hotel in last week of July. Rooms are large and clean, with beautiful sights from windows. Hotel has enough place for car parking. There is promenade about 10 minutes from hotel to excellent beach, which consists of sand and shingle parts. Sea is crystal clear and sufficiently warm. Radovichi village is nice and quiet with several markets (one of them is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel). Village is connected with Tivat by bus route and taxi.
