Where shall I start? The bathroom had no soap. One arrives after a long drive and one cannot wash ones hands with soap. Really? Is that following modern hygienic standards. The room manual stated that one can buy such items at the reception, great :( The parking was on-street parking with different prices depending on the side of the hotel. That was not explained to guests by the reception staff. I was not the only arriving guest wondering where to park and how to pay. The bathroom was large with plenty of opportunity to place shelfs, hooks etc. The hotel missed this opportunity completely. Talking of missing shelfs. Apart from the small hotel room fridge, there was not a single horizontal surface big enough to hold a laptop. And all that for approximately 180 USD. I took the Thon hotel because I had pleasant stays in Thon hotels. I should have taken the Scandic.
