Villa Theresa Beach Resort

Will definitely stay here again, great location, close to the beach and great price. All the staff are wonderful and nothing was a problem

It sucks!!!

My main gripe with the hotel is the value for money factor. If I pay 3500/- a night for a hotel, I expect quality room service, a good breakfast spread and atleast room service However, room service is on-demand. So,you have to ask somebody to come clean your room. The breakfast spread is fixed (and very limited) menu. If you want anything more, you need to pay extra. The staff was courteous and helpful. However, at that price, you expect a bit more.

The pool did not meet up to our expectations and we did not even try once to enter into it. Rooms were big (looks like its a renovated old property), spacious, having Victorian style wood furniture and had a nice balcony, so that was a plus. But what we did not like is that there was a constant smell of stale moistness which wasn't all that pleasing. The hotel's room service was also not up to the mark. Another minor thing is that Hotel appearance in Yellow as shown in illustrations looks better than the dull green which we found eventually.

We originally booked Villa Theresa beach resort based on the website and we received confirmation for same and payment was made. Then when we arrived at the Hotel they had no rooms and they then moved us to another hotel that they owned due to no prior notice and the fact we had already paid we had to take this other Hotel. Staff just smiled at us when we complained also. Had we not paid then I would have not stayed in this Hotel and made my own arrangements.
