Ulysse Djerba Thalasso & Spa

I spent 3 night in the hotel. It is very clean, staff very polite and helpful. Rooms are relaxing and well decorated. Balcony with sea view is excellent but still can hear the relaxing wave sound from garden view rooms. Breakfast buffet is tremendously amazing. A credit for this hotel.

This hotel is so good. the good about this hotel is calm and clean I love to go there again .

The hotel has some good facilities and we received very good service from the room staff and by the pool. However we felt the reception staff were a little hostile and not helpful. They appeared to be annoyed that we were asking questions in English, when we tried some french they were a little more friendly. But not by much. If you have trouble booking a taxi there are many taxis which drive near and outside the hotel e.g. for going out at dinner time. It costs 15 dinars to get to the airport and 5 dinars to Houmt Souk. Exchange money at check in as they expect a tip when you go to your room. The gym is very basic and old (not 5 star), make sure the door is shut to ensure the aircon works. Otherwise the room can get very hot. In terms of food, I agree with many of the comments made so far. It is very expensive, we ended up going to Dar Ali hotel just opposite the hotel for a basic meal (opens at 7) but alot cheaper. Also La lagune or Les Palmiers in Midoun. For lunch I would suggest going to Houmt Souk (only 6 dinars one way). There is a small shop opposite the hotel where we bought bottles of water and snacks.

Great location, quiet area and very nice beach. The service is excellent, helpful and knowledgeable staff. We have used the help from the front desk/reception to organise a very good excursion to Sahara (Ksar Ghilane).

Great location breakfast not 5 star rating I was upgraded to a sea facing room as the first one was quite dark .thank you to the gentleman on reception for letting me have this at no extra charge.housekeeping was very good all staff were smart and well groomed although some could do with lessons on customer care .it didn't bother me to much that hardly anyone.spoke english but it got a little frustrating at times I dont think I would go back to that particular hotel due to the lack of choice in the dining room .

Rooms tastefully decorated, with the best bed I have slept on in the whole of Tunisia (I've stayed in 10 hotels countrywide). Breakfast plentiful and varied. Pools great. Spa a real treat.

Very nice hotel, diner buffet was not to good but i feel that this was probably due to lack of guests, which seems to be a problem at all hotels in Tunisia at the moment. My only real problem that i had though was that the water in the indoor pool was to cold, and at this time of year the outdoor pool was understandably freezing!!

This is the 5th time in the last few months we have stayed at this hotel - during the unrest in Libya. Great place with friendly staff. Highly recommended.
