"Living the dream!"

A beautiful, romantic place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our suite and the Castle were of fairytale proportions. The historic surroundings were complimented by the modern facilities of the spa which added to the overall feel of relaxation and wellness. The grounds were superb with lots of walking tracks, animals and birds to spot and explore. Would love to have stayed longer!

"Exceptional welcome and facilities"

We stayed 2 nights in August. The staff were very friendly and the hotel and facilities were as good as we've ever experienced in the UK. The newly opened spa and terrace restaurant are delightful and the hotel grounds and huge Swinton Estate wonderful to explore. Rooms are quite expensive but when you take account of the breakfast, use of the spa, access to the estate as well the quality of the rooms (including the public rooms) we felt it was good value. A few minor service glitches - possibly because some facilities are so new - did not detract from our overall enjoyment and we plan to return.

"Beautiful hotel excellent stay"

Magnificent hotel with great facilities. One night stay not enough - will definitely be returning. All staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are luxurious. Made our Labrador very welcome. Provided her bedding bowls nighttime treat and welcome letter. Doggy heaven! Wonderful area lots to see and do. Would highly recommend.

This was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in it was welcoming room comfortable views stunning Carnot wait to go back again later in the year
