It was pretty clean

Noisy main road and poor soundproofing. Looking tired and needs a major refit.

A good value-for-money option relatively close to the Cotswolds. The deluxe bedroom was truly unique and felt well above its price range. The location is not particularly picturesque, but it does offer a great view.

We had a lovely room with a fantastic panoramic view, the cleaning and replenishing of the main room and bathroom was excellent. Staff were engaged, interested, approachable and polite. The choice of breakfasts was excellent, both cooked and continental and great value.

The one thing that would really help – and this is not actually the Hotel's fault as it was clearly the dustbin lorry turning that had damaged the drive as we watched it happen this morning – was the wheel sized pot-hole.

Enjoyed the stay. It’s placed in a beautiful spot. It has a nice restaurant and bar with open spaces. Food was good and tasty. The staff were very helpful as well. Rooms are large and spacious. Behind the property you find a hiking trail. You can easily find a spot to watch the beautiful star night on the clear sky through this area.

Breakfast excellent. Views from front are outstanding. We have stayed here several times before. Staff always been friendly and helpful.

The only downside this time was the room. Room 14 to be precise. The floor is horrendously noisy, not just one little part but the whole floor creaks really badly. I know it's inevitable that creaky floors and old hotels/pubs go together but this was over and above normal.
